About Us - Kauai Physical Therapy at its Best!

Founded in 2005, Ohana Sports Medicine provides skilled outpatient Physical Therapy services to the island of Kauai. The clinic is centrally located between Lihue and Kekaha, at the Port Allen Marina Center in Ele’ele and is owned by husband and wife team, Dan Schaal, PT and Suzie Woolway, CCC-SLP.

Our mission is to restore our patients to optimum health and maximize human function by providing a wide range of specialized Physical Therapy programs—each customized for the individual we are treating.  We take the time needed to uncover the root cause of the injury, and then develop an appropriate and effective treatment regimen for each patient.

We strive to make Physical Therapy accessible to the hard working people of Kauai, by working closely with your doctor and structuring our hours to fit your schedule. We treat patients of all ages and fitness levels.

Over the past five years, we have developed a reputation among physicians for providing thoughtful evaluations and a balanced approach to therapy that combines progressive equipment and an effective “hands-on” approach to achieve better results and faster recovery from injury.
